The Prize Giving Ceremony of ABC High school.

The annual prize giving ceremony of ABC high school was held on a grand scale at school assembly hall on last 3rd December. On this occasion the whole school campus wore a festive look. The hall was richly decorated with flowers and festoons. The hall was packed with students, guardians and invited persons. The programme began at 10 a.m. The honourable headmaster delivered the welcome speech and read out the annual report of the school. The Education Minister of West Bengal presided over the function. The local B.D.O. was the chief guest. All the guests were offered bouquet of flowers. Then students took part in recitations, songs and dramas.
The chief guest started to give away prizes at 3 p.m. and he put a short speech. The prizes were given for good result in the final exam, regular attendance, winners of the annual sports of the school and so on. The chief guest and president advised students to be disciplined and attentive to study to be the future leader of the nation. The function came to an end at 4 p.m. The headmaster thanked the president, chief guest and all others. He expressed hope for bright future of the students.
